The Hawaii Japanese Center was established in 2002 and moved into its present location at 751 Kanoelehua Avenue in 2007. Supported by community donations and volunteers, major renovations were made to construct and improve the Center’s facilities. Today, the Center includes an office, gift shop, meeting rooms, storage, exhibition spaces and an oral history studio.
